What are interim assessments?
Interim assessments (IAs) are Regents and curriculum-aligned assessments that signal how students are progressing towards end-of-year Regents success. IAs are administered in one class period and are about ยผ to โ the length of a full Regents exam, allowing teachers to monitor progress and provide targeted instructional support. The IA sequence culminates in a full-length Mock Regents exam in the spring, giving students the opportunity to practice content mastery, test-taking skills, and testing endurance.
