Prepare students for exams with the Portal's Assessments feature

Good day! 🙂

Use the Portal's Assessment feature to administer full mock Regents exams and shorter, curriculum-aligned Interim Assessments (IAs) that help you gauge student readiness, build confidence, and improve Regents performance.

Unlike full mock exams, IAs fit in one class period and run about ¼ to ⅓ the length of a traditional Regents exam, so teachers can monitor progress and target instruction early in the year. The IA sequence culminates in a full-length mock Regents exam typically in the spring, where students practice content mastery, test-taking skills, and endurance.

The Portal offers a variety of past Regents exams to use as full mocks, plus IAs in multiple subjects. Click the button below to see the full list!

Feature overview

After uploading your answer sheets through the Portal, we will scan and process your data, and the following views will become available in the Portal under Assessments:

  • Area/Standard Analysis: Identify challenging areas/standards and tailor instructional plans for groups of students.

  • Question Analysis: Identify difficult multiple-choice questions and the most commonly selected wrong answers to prevent future mistakes.

  • Student Results: Review individual student performance data to inform conversations with students around their strengths and areas for improvement.
