What is the Notes page in the Portal?
The Notes page is a central hub to keep track of updates across students.
All users in the School Portal have a new Notes page in the navigation. The Notes page shows all notes with the following criteria:
Notes you created
Notes to which you are assigned
Notes in which someone has @ mentioned you
Notes on which other staff members have left comments
You can still find all notes on a student on the Student Profile page.
If you receive an email notification about being mentioned or assigned in a note, clicking the link on the email will take you to the Notes page, and open the corresponding note.
Filtering the Notes page
Use the Filter dropdown to quickly find what you’re looking for. You can filter by notes you created, notes assigned to you, notes in which you're mentioned, and notes with follow up comments.

Use the search field to quickly find what you’re looking for by keyword, mention or date.
What does it mean when a note is Archived?
Notes are automatically archived when they’re over a year old. You can still read archived notes, but they can no longer be edited or commented on. The status, assignments, mentions and comments on all notes will remain how they were when they were archived.
If you wish to follow up on a note that’s over a year old, make a new note.
