How can I create postsecondary experiences in the Portal?
The Postsecondary Experiences feature provides a way to track students’ experiences in preparing for life after high school. The feature can also be used to document work-based learning hours to fulfill CDOS (Career Development and Occupational Studies) requirements. Schools that use the Portal to track postsecondary student data will have their data automatically uploaded STARS on a weekly basis.
To Add Experiences for a single student
Open up the Postsecondary Panel
Utilize the Add Experiences button to create an experience
To Add Experiences for a group of students
Navigate to the Data Grid
Utilize the batch actions feature at the top of the screen to select a group of students
Select Edit and Experiences to create an experience for the group
