What is the difference between a Support Lead and Point Person?
Point People and Support Leads can be assigned to individual students as well as groups of students for the purposes of supporting students and tracking their progress. However, they do have differences in when they should be used:
Support Lead should be used when you are identifying the person in charge of implementing, monitoring and taking attendance for an ongoing support activity
Point Person should be used when you are identifying the person responsible for conducting outreach to a student and their family, based on their performance in a single area (e.g., attendance or academics)
