How can I review Math and ELA NY State Exam data?
The Portal allows you to monitor State Exam data to facilitate analysis around student progress. This data can also be viewed alongside attendance, academic and assessment data to give a more complete picture of what supports could benefit the student.
State Exam data tips
From the Dashboard, you can view current school year exam data by clicking the Proficient on the SY (ELA or Math) State Exam tile to bring you to a Breakdown View, where you can further hone in on subgroups
From the Data Grid, data points for current or past exam data can be added alongside additional data points for further analysis
Navigate to the Data Grid from the main left side navigation
Click Edit columns in the upper left hand corner. Then, select All fields and use the drop downs to select the categories you want to view. Then check or uncheck the boxes to select the columns you want to review within the category or categories selected. When you have finished your customization, click Apply columns in the right hand corner.
