Hello there!

The Portal makes it easy for schools to view Regents exam scores. Exam scores will appear as either the numerical score that the student received, WA (waived), or WG (appealed). This article will provide you with an understanding of the logic behind Regents exam waivers and appeals.

As always, please reach out to schoolsupport@newvisions.org with any questions or feedback you may have. Let’s get started!

Overview:

Additional resources:

Exam waiver logic

  1. Any exam that has been successfully waived (marked WA) is treated as a 65 and counts as fulfilling exam requirements for Regents and Advanced Regents diploma types

Exam appeal logic

  1. Appealed (WG) exams from other administrations have different rules and logic depending on the original score and student circumstances. Note: There are currently four types of appeals. Learn more here!
