Hello there! 😄

The Portal makes it easy to monitor student academics across your school population. By navigating from the Academic list view, Data grid or Dashboard, you can group data in various ways - by grade or class, ethnicity, special population status, and more. One grouping option is by Academic point person. Point People are staff members responsible for specific student support areas - Academics, Attendance, Postsecondary, etc. Grouping by Academic Point Person allows you to monitor students' progress assigned to particular staff members better to understand the distribution of academic needs across Point People.

Assigning all point people who are responsible for supporting students with their academics allows for close monitoring of student progress and early intervention upon the first indication of decline in academic performance. Monitoring the progress of students assigned to a point person allows the staff member to review students' academic trends, help them make more informed decisions, and possibly change their approach to improve students' academics.
