This article will explain how to assign a graduation plan for a single student. A graduation plan is comprised of a diploma type and a graduation date. Let's get started!

Assigning a graduation plan from the Student Profile
Follow these steps to assign a graduation plan using the Student Profile in the Portal:
Click on the student’s name
From the Student Profile, expand the Graduation panel
Click on the dropdown next to Planned diploma type to update the type of diploma the student will be working towards
Note: Students who have been marked with a negative discharge code (D-neg) should be given a graduation plan of Non-Graduate.
Click on the dropdown next to Planned grad date to set the students expected graduation date
Select options for safety net eligibility, planned endorsements, and planned credentials where applicable
Assigning a graduation plan from the List View
Follow these steps to assign a graduation plan using the List View in the Portal:
Hone in on a single student from the Attendance, Academic, Screeners, or Postsecondary lists found along the left side of the Portal
Select the Batch actions feature on the right and click the checkbox next to the student name
Choose Edit fields along the right side
From the menu, choose Planned Diploma Type to update the type of diploma the student will be working towards and select edit
Note: Students who have been marked with a negative discharge code (D-neg) should be given a graduation plan of "Non-Graduate."
From the menu, choose Planned Graduation Date to set the students expected graduation date
Assigning a graduation plan using the Data Grid
Follow these steps to assign a graduation plan using the Data Grid in the Portal:
Hone in on a single student by filtering and sorting the customizable columns within the data grid
Select the Batch actions feature at the top of the screen, and click the checkbox next to the student name
Choose Edit fields along the top
From the menu, choose Planned Diploma Type to update the type of diploma the student will be working towards and select edit
Note: Students who have been marked with a negative discharge code (D-neg) should be given a graduation plan of "Non-Graduate."
