This article will help you understand how to use the Portal to identify which students have a typical or strong social emotional composite rating based on the SEL Pre-Assessment. Before diving in, be sure to review How to log in to the Portal.

From the Dashboard view, click on the tile At or above typical rating for SEL
The 1st dropdown lets you know the focus of the dashboard. You can use the 2nd dropdown to filter for the students you would like to focus on and the 3rd dropdown to group your students.
Hover over each bar in the graph to view the percentage of students in each group
Below the bar graph, review the data in tabular form. Hover over a column header for a tooltip to populate with more information.
Click on a row in the table to identify the students
Select Edit Columns in the top left
Check the box Clear all
Under the section Basic Info, select the demographic columns you would like to see to view subgroups
Next, scroll down to the Screeners - SEL section to check the particular SEL columns you would like to view in your customized grid
Select Apply Columns
By using filters and sorting the columns, you will be able to see which of your students have a typical or strong social emotional composite for SEL
