Our goal is to make it easy for you to identify patterns and trends in student performance in key academic areas and to easily view this data alongside other key student metrics available in the Portal, to identify students who may need specific attention or support. By using our F&P feature set to manually enter your students' scores, you can view this data in the Data grid and review it alongside a variety of academic screener data and attendance data.

Overview
Your Fountas and Pinnell Data
Before diving into features, it may be helpful to know what data from Fountas and Pinnell is available in the Portal. You can use our F&P feature set to input scores and review student progress in the Data Grid. The Portal allows you to review students' independent score, instructional score and identify students who did not meet their expected F&P level. Users can review this data by grade, by teacher, and by special populations, to elevate trends and address emerging gaps.
Manually recording your F&P Administration Dates
Manually recording your F&P scores using our feature allows you to see student performance in key academic areas and easily view this data alongside other key student metrics available in the Portal. Housing this data in one location makes it easier for leadership to make decisions around this data and take action on this data. F&P Data in the Data Grid
Follow these steps to review F&P data alongside other data in the Data Grid:
Navigate to the Data Grid from the main Left-side navigation
Select Edit Columns from the main grid toolbar
Click on All fields and select Screeners - Fountas and Pinnell category
Use the checkboxes to the right of the column names to select or de-select columns
Click Apply to explore your custom data view
